What Mirror processes

Mirror sends the board pairing session and the ink, eraser, page, and pointer events you intentionally create to the Mirror relay so the audience browser can show them live. Mirror has no user accounts and does not collect names, email addresses, contacts, photos, audio, or precise location.

Retention

Board content and the secret writer credential are stored in an isolated session journal only to support reconnect and relay restart. A session expires after at most two hours without retained activity; its journal is then deleted. Standard HTTPS access logs can contain an IP address and are rotated within seven days. WebSocket request URLs, board codes, writer credentials, and ink content are excluded from application logs.

Sharing and tracking

Mirror does not sell data, serve advertising, track people across apps or websites, or use analytics SDKs. Live board content is available only to people who receive the temporary pairing code. Keep that code private while teaching.

Your choices

Ending the board disconnects the writer. You can also clear pages before leaving. For a privacy or deletion request, use the support contact shown on Mirror's App Store listing and include the approximate session time; never send a writer credential.
